Andrew Michael Geller
Andrew Michael Geller's love of nature's beauty helped mold him into one of the greatest architects of our time. As chief architectural designer and vice president of Raymond Loewy Associates in New York, he helped design NYC's Lever House, Macy's Department Stores and Lord & Taylor. But, it was his summer houses in the Hamptons and Fire Island that started my obsession. Geller's designs were economical, easy to construct, and easy to seal up at the end of the season. The houses defined a new era of modernism on the beach.
