good find

my friend paige just introduced me to emilia ceramics, they specialize in more traditional mexican, italian and french ceramics but i came across these gems while trolling their inventory. basic primary color choices and bold contrasty chevron and stripes, cant go wrong!

Hadley Hutton prints

I recently used a print of Hadley Huttons in a shoot I styled for Martha -- I've fallen in love with her work. We've all seen so many bird prints but I find Hadleys to be refreshing. Unique color and composition, I'm really into them. Very affordable too -- which is awesome.

the new bon appetit

bon appetit just received a major face lift and i am a huge fan. the may "italy" issue that just came in the mail features gorgeous styling and photography but most importantly delicious -yet achievable- recipes. i loved the mix of articles. for example, the issue includes an instructional guide on making stove-top coffee in a traditional moka pot, a beautiful spread on the missoni family cooking at home (who knew those crazy knit prints looked so awesome on men?!), easy breezy hollandaise sauce made in a blender perfect for easter asparagus or mother's day eggs benedict, and roman street food. but the best article of all is the pasta sauce primer featured on the cover. it's already torn out and stuck to my fridge- i swear i'm going to get a lifetime of amazing dinners out of it. be sure to check the issue out- the stunning photography alone by the likes of gentl + hyers and ditte isager is guaranteed to get you excited to get in the kitchen.

Candied Shoes

This week I have a sweet tooth and I want shoes that look like candy.
Patent leather that looks like lollipops and jelly shoes that remind me of gummy candy.
