i just found these killer rain shoes by Spurdy, they come in a million colors - perfect for those rainy spring and summer days. ladies they have your sizes too! definitely preppier than i'd normally sport but it beats wearing a hot sweaty boot in the summer or getting sopping wet.

i'll have one of each thanks
i have a new go-to online store for baby and kids' presents. atsuyo et akiko are two japanese designers that have an affinity for silk screening and french phrases. i was introduced to them by a friend who bought my daughter a super sweet enamel heart necklace. now i'm making lists in my head of all the things i'd like to buy for myself and friends:

Oh Suki!
One of DVF's creative masterminds, Suki Cheema, has started his own home collection and it's super rich in texture color and personality. Here are a few of my favorite, obviously I had a hard time not choosing them all!
Cheers! and carry on.....
Stella McCartney's Fall collection this year left me feeling sort of "meh". Which is hard for me to admit because I am a huge fan and usually love just about everything she does. So thank god for her Resort 2011 collection that will hit stores this winter. It's a masterpiece of feminine meets structured, with lace and botanical prints that make me swoon!
So, Cheers Stella!

Tiny Bubbles...
I must still be channeling Drinks Week, because I'm loving Francis Kurkdjian's perfumed bubbles. The man is basically a French fragrance god and after filling the gardens of Versailles with scented bubbles, he came out with a collection of his own.

Everybody’s workin for the weekend…..
My summertime dream car has always been a convertible Bronco. I can’t help but think of the carefree life that seems to go along with it.
Wind in my hair, music blasting and a surfboard poking out the back….

Summer Drinks Week: Ikea, who knew
Here is a great tip/secret for those of you who spend as much time at Ikea as some of us. On your way out stop by the food area and grab a bottle of this Elderflower syrup.
In England you can find this non-alcoholic syrup everywhere and it's great for mixing with vodka or gin or in a spritzer. But my favorite is simply with soda water, a sprig of mint and slice of lemon.
