Eye of the Beholder
Silly? Ridiculous? Impractical? Yes, d) all of the above; I have a sick fascination with eye glasses and no, I don't need them to see, to read or to drive. Drats! Ever since I laid eyes on Ottica Carraro's jellybean colored rubber spectacles, I have been an obsessed fan.
Made in Venice, the shop is located off the Piazza San Marco in the same space it has occupied since 1967.
The glasses are handmade by artisans without any toxic components for about $116 dollars.
I think I may just have to make a little trip to Italy...Anyone?
