Within the last few months I’ve been frequenting a bar in the East Village called, Lovers Of Today. It has amazingly unique cocktails and the Astral Plane is at the top of my list. I order it every time, because it’s not only delicious (obviously), but it always seems to remind me of the party scenes in The Great Gatsby.
Once I found out the ingredients, I knew why. It’s pretty much a mix of Gin, Champagne, Lemon, and Syrup, topped with Herb De Provence.
Ah, to be that chic, while sipping cocktails at an amazing summer party
(minus the drama, of course).
